How to Recover in Windows 8 using Recovery Tool.

One of my reader have wrote me about his new HP system which came without any recovery tool. Recovery tool like recovery disks are used to restore Windows In system breakdown.

That is usual these days. Even on systems which have Optical Drives , computer vendors opt to save money and skip the Windows recover disks which were once common.

Windows 8 have introduced two features RESET and REFRESH , that helps ino overcoming these kind of problems of restoring and recovering.

Refresh efficiently reinstalls Windows while holding all of your programs, settings, and also data—a great approach to troubleshoot a computer that is gone flaky on you.

Reset, on the other hand, accomplishes a system wipe and also reinstall, providing you the equivalent of a factory-new installation. Neither choice requires any kind of additional media.

Yeah, however what happens if system won't boot? That is when you require such type of bootable recovery tool. Windows 8 makes it easy to create one, using either a blank disks or Flash drives.

How to Create Recovery Disk:

  • 1. On Start Screen of Windows 8, type  recovery.

  • 2. In a search-results window that appears, click on Settings, after that click on Create a recovery drive.

  • 3. If the option is not grayed out, then check the box marked with Copy the recovery partition from the PC to the recovery drive. (With out which, you will feel only system-repair tools, not a full reinstall support.) Then hit Next.

  • 4. The tool will tell you how much capacity you will require for the backup. By default, it'll create the bootable flash disk, but if you do not insert one, you will see you can also click on Create a system-repair disc with a CD or DVD somewhat.

  • 5. Follow all the prompts then process will complete.

Now you can set Label for drive(disk) and keep it until you need it.
